Fabricator - 2nd Shift

Position Summary As a Fabricator, you will bend, seat, flange, and top‑flange material to meet work order and production drawing specifications, ensuring safety, quality, and lean production goals. The role requires operating press brakes and other manual fabrication equipment, performing quality inspections, and maintaining a clean work environment. Responsibilities Operate press brake and other manual fabrication equipment to manufacture parts according to prints and work orders. ( 75% ) Perform quality inspections against drawings and specifications using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other instruments. ( 15% ) Communicate with department leadership regarding issues and improvements. Package finished products in cartons, apply labels, and palletize finished products. Gather and stage work. Maintain a clean work environment. ( 10% ) Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum 3 years related experience or training in production and processing. Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, and cost‑management techniques. Ability to watch gauges and indicators to ensure machines operate correctly. Strong mathematical skills and ability to read and interpret production drawings. Selective attention, active listening, and communication skills. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds and operating large equipment for 8‑12 hours. Schedule & Compensation This is a full‑time, 2nd shift position scheduled Monday–Thursday, 2:30pm–1:00am, with overtime as needed. Shift differential: $1.00 per hour. Pay range is $21.30 – $31.97 per hour.
