JOB TITLE: Sales Assistant

Location: Hoboken

Type of contract: Full time

ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Senior Commercial Director, the Sales Assistant provides operational and administrative support to the sales team. Acting as a key link between distributors, and internal departments (Customer Service, Marketing, Logistics), ensures flawless order execution, sales performance follow-up, and the implementation of trade and retail activation tools.

KEY RESPONSABILITIES

Order Management and Sales Back-Office

Daily follow-up of client orders
Coordination with the team to ensure proper logistics execution and on-time delivery
Monitoring product allocations based on commercial priorities and stock levels
Update and maintain sales and delivery dashboards
Daily interface with Marketing, Logistics, Customer Service, and Finance teams
Communicate the updated order forms

Sales Support and B2B Client Relations

Share and monitor commercial information (novelties, launches, prices, assortments, etc.)
Monthly collection of the Wholesale, Sell-out and stock of Distributors
Monthly reconciliation of all the metrics
Track sell-in and sell-out performance in collaboration with field sales teams
Ad hoc support in the preparation of business reviews and market follow-up meetings

Marketing Collaterals Support

Manage material shipments to distributors and points of sale
Coordinate requests for POS materials, testers, and samples, and monitor inventories
Support Marketing team in distributors forecasting process for Novelties and POSM
Follow up and control A&P consumption in coordination with Marketing team

PROFILE & COMPETENCIES

Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail, reliability, and autonomy
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Fluency in English
Higher education degree in business or equivalent (Bachelors or Masters level)
First successful experience in a similar position, ideally within the perfume, beauty, or luxury industry
