KPIs are clear, schedules are locked, and you’re ready to guide people, processes, and product flow from receiving to shipping—safely, precisely, and on time. That’s the daily rhythm for our Warehouse Operations Supervisor.

What you’ll lead

• End-to-end warehouse operations: safety, housekeeping, 5S, Lean practices, on-time customer delivery, production efficiency/effectiveness, shipping, receiving, inventory accuracy, and cost control.
• Team leadership: hire, coach, and review performance in partnership with the Operations Manager and HR; set quantitative goals aligned to Operations, UPM and ONI Key Strategic Objectives; develop training plans through annual performance reviews.
• Talent development: train and mentor team members to address performance or behavior gaps and foster career growth.

How you’ll drive improvement

• Own and advance a Continuous Improvement (CI) culture throughout warehouse operations.
• Implement and sustain 5S/Lean to maximize productivity and eliminate waste.
• Execute weekly production/shipment schedules efficiently; actively track daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual KPIs and close performance gaps.
• Lead cost control initiatives; quantify and track savings/avoidance to achieve year-over-year reductions in operating expenses.
• Protect inventory integrity and accuracy end-to-end.

Compliance, quality, and ethics

• Accountability for OSHA and EPA compliance in all warehouse activities.
• Support and enforce ISO quality requirements.
• Model and maintain the UPM and ONI Code of Conduct and Ethics policy.

Scope

Leadership responsibilities include direct and indirect reports (varies by location).

Qualifications

• Lean/Six Sigma Greenbelt Certified required (or a defined path to certification).
• 5+ years of proven leadership experience.
• 5+ years in manufacturing, distribution, and/or warehouse environments.
• Associate Degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience. High school diploma or GED with two years related experience and/or training (or equivalent) will also be considered.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication; strong interpersonal skills; decisive under pressure; team-oriented and results-driven.

Core competencies

• Language: read/interpret safety rules, operating/maintenance instructions, and procedures; write reports/correspondence ; speak effectively with groups.
• Math: add/subtract/multiply/divide in all units; work with fractions/decimals; compute rate/ratio/percent; interpret bar graphs.
• Reasoning: apply common sense to written/oral/diagrammed instructions; solve problems with several concrete variables.

Schedule

First Shift 5 am to 330pm Monday-Thursday

Technical proficiency

• Material handling experience
