Ability to support patient choice and promote vaginal birth opportunities specific to patient preference.Advanced skills needed: Spinning babies helpful, STABLE also helpfulProcedures performed on unit: circulating in OR, IUPC, FSE, MgSO4, pp hemorrhage- JADA system, nitrous oxideDress Code:Hot pink and black. May wear black on bottom but preferable hot pink on top.Unit Guidelines/Policies:Awards/Recognition:HCA Unit of Distinction 2021, TIPQC Pilot hospital for NTSV and Team BirthAdditional Information:We use a laborist team model with 24/7 midwives and dedicated CRNA and OB on call. We attempt to personalize each birth experience to our patients' desires and needs. We perform couplet care in our postpartum unit to allow the newborn to never have to leave the bedside and promote breastfeeding with the additional of donor milk availability when needed. We have an 8 bed level 2 NICU with NNP dedicated to the unit 24/7. NNP available to attend all high risk deliveries when needed.
