Job Details Location: Smyrna, TN 37167 Setting: Labor & Delivery / Women’s Services Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Job Shift: 12-hour nights Hours Per Week: 36 Contract Length: 13 weeks Start Date: 09/28/2026 Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,570 - $1,650 Job Requirements Active RN license Minimum of 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience Current ACLS certification Current BLS certification Current NRP certification Fetal monitoring competency Strong commitment to patient-centered care and supporting birth preferences Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced obstetric and maternal health environment Responsibilities Provide high-quality Labor & Delivery nursing care to laboring and postpartum patients Support patient choice and encourage vaginal birth opportunities when appropriate Assist with circulating in the OR and manage obstetric procedures as needed Perform and monitor interventions such as IUPC, FSE, MgSO4, postpartum hemorrhage management, JADA system support, and nitrous oxide Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and anesthesia providers to promote safe, individualized maternal-fetal care Respond to high-risk deliveries and maintain readiness for evolving patient needs Contribute to a positive, team-oriented healthcare environment focused on quality outcomes and patient experience Why Apply?
