Role Description The Practice Manager/Assistant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in West Palm Beach, FL, responsible for overseeing day-to-day administrative and operational activities of the neurosurgery practice. Qualifications
- Experience in medical practice management or healthcare administration, with skills in staff supervision, workflow optimization, and daily operations oversight.
- Knowledge of patient scheduling, registration, and front office processes, including managing appointment templates and coordinating referrals.
- Familiarity with medical billing and revenue cycle activities such as insurance verification, prior authorization, claims follow-up, and collections.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and practice management systems, as well as basic office software (e.g., MS Office).
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, physicians, and external partners in a professional manner.
- Commitment to patient confidentiality, regulatory compliance (e.g., HIPAA), and adherence to healthcare quality standards.
- Prior experience in a surgical or specialty practice, particularly neurosurgery or related fields, is preferred.
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
