Real Estate Valuation Analyst, Advisory

Compensation Range: $45,000 - $75,000 Job Overview We are hiring an Analyst in the Valuation & Advisory team to support valuation consulting, appraisal review, appraisal management, financial due diligence, and investment managed services. This is a hybrid role that requires two days per week onsite at our New York office. Responsibilities Support valuation and advisory assignments across a variety of commercial real estate portfolios. Conduct research and analyze market data including rental rates, comparable transactions, and property-level information. Assist with financial analysis and cash flow modelling using Excel, Argus Enterprise, and other industry tools. Collaborate with Analysts, Consultants, Directors, clients, and third‑party appraisers to deliver research and administrative support. Manage institutional real estate projects related to acquisitions, lending, asset management, and portfolio valuation. Maintain accurate reporting and data management in internal systems. Balance multiple assignments, timelines, and requests while demonstrating attention to detail. Continue building industry expertise through mentorship and professional development. Qualifications University or college degree in Commerce, Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline. Comfortable with numbers, financial analysis, and data interpretation; strong problem‑solving and critical thinking skills. Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs; experience with Argus Enterprise or other valuation tools is an asset. Excellent research and organizational skills and ability to synthesize information from multiple sources. Strong communication and collaboration skills in a team‑oriented environment.
