Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient nursing care for cardiology and interventional radiology patients; monitor status and document findings.
- Perform treadmill tests, exercise tolerance tests, and nuclear stress testing; assist with preparation, monitoring, and post-test care.
- Conduct initial patient interviews and history gathering; prepare studies for physician interpretation and ensure accurate data in the medical record.
- Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures; assist with specialized procedures (stress-echo, tilt-table) and respond to emergencies per policy.
- Administer moderate/conscious sedation as needed and maintain patient safety during procedures.
- Educate patients and families about tests, procedures, and post-test care; coordinate with cardiology and IR teams to ensure timely results.

Requirements
- Current New York RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (through AHA or RQI)
- Minimum 2 years of patient care experience with recent arrhythmia recognition/cardiology experience; moderate sedation competency; treadmill and nuclear stress testing
- Preferred ICU or Cardiology nursing experience; strong understanding of arrhythmias and Meditech documentation
- RN graduate; BSN preferred
