Bookkeeper

Summary: This role is heavily transactional — entering invoices, coding costs to jobs, processing payroll, and reconciling receipts are daily tasks. The ideal candidate is accurate, organized, and comfortable with repetitive detail work. Primary Responsibilities: Accounts Receivable: issue invoices, track orders to be invoiced, pursue past‑due payments. Accounts Payable: enter vendor invoices, assign costs to appropriate customers/jobs. Reconcile receipts of all employee credit cards with the credit card statement. Prepare monthly sales tax report. Assist with reporting sales tax. Assist with insurance and other compliance issues for contracts. Prepare and submit payroll. Assign hours to appropriate jobs. Process incoming checks for deposit. Track financial performance on construction contracts. Qualifications: Previous bookkeeping experience is a plus. Knowledge of Quick Books is a must. Maintain polite, courteous, tactful communication with clients and company staff. Excellent attention to detail. Punctual, responsible, have organized work habits, and be able to keep up with deadlines and complete daily work on time with few mistakes. Additional Information: Full-time non‑exempt position; pay range starting at $20.00-$25.00 per hour depending on experience, education, and training.
