The CFO will be responsible for ensuring fiscal integrity, sustainability, and regulatory compliance, while aligning financial strategy with the organization's mission and growth trajectory. This role involves partnering with the CEO and executive team to develop long-term financial strategy, providing financial modeling and analysis, and overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and grant financial oversight. The ideal candidate must have a strong background in nonprofit financial management, including knowledge of GAAP and federal grant compliance, and possess the ability to manage complex funding streams and adapt to changing circumstances. Key responsibilities for the CFO at the company include developing financial dashboards, managing the annual operating budget, and ensuring compliance with all financial regulations. The successful candidate will also be involved in governance and leadership, serving as a liaison to the Finance Committee, presenting financial matters to the Board of Directors, and supervising the accounting staff. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a CPA strongly preferred, and a minimum of 8-10 years' of financial leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a nonprofit setting. The CFO must demonstrate unwavering support for the organization's mission, maintain high ethical standards, and possess excellent communication and leadership skills.
