Senior Account Manager

Proactively developing opportunities within State, Local, and Education (SLED) accounts, the full-time Senior Account Manager will manage relationships, shape project scopes, and drive sales of Zayo's services while working remotely from the Las Vegas, Nevada or San Diego, California metro areas. Key responsibilities Engage with district technology leaders and E-rate consultants to identify and shape project requirements ahead of formal RFPs Build and maintain strategic relationships with IT and procurement leaders across public sector entities Generate new sales revenue by promoting Zayo's infrastructure and managed solutions while maintaining existing business through renewals Required qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Minimum 5 years of sales experience in the Public Sector or Education verticals Demonstrated expertise in the E-rate program and understanding of funding cycles Proven success in developing opportunities before procurement begins and influencing project design Familiarity with state contract vehicles and cooperative purchasing programs
