Product Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced and results‑driven Wire & Cable Product Manager (Wire & Cable). Key Responsibilities Lead and coordinate new product development projects from concept through commercialization. Develop and execute product strategies to drive growth in transit, industrial, and military market segments. Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and assess existing product performance. Create and maintain product literature, technical documentation, and marketing materials. Work closely with R&D teams to develop new cable compounds and innovative product solutions. Coordinate product testing, certifications, and compliance approvals with external agencies. Design and maintain product drawings using CAD or SolidWorks. Develop product costing models, pricing strategies, and price sheets. Prepare engineered quotations and provide technical support to customers and sales teams. Specify, source, and qualify raw materials required for new product development. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Sales, and Supply Chain to ensure successful product launches. Monitor industry trends, customer requirements, and regulatory changes to support business growth. Required Qualifications Must-Have Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant product management experience. Experience in the Wire & Cable Manufacturing industry is required. Proven product management experience within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in CAD and/or SolidWorks. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to evaluate data and make sound business decisions. Experience with product costing, pricing, and quotation development. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed. Preferred Qualifications Experience serving transit, industrial, military, aerospace, defense, or related markets. Knowledge of wire and cable industry standards, testing requirements, and regulatory compliance. Experience managing technical products throughout the full product lifecycle. #J-18808-Ljbffr
