PRN Food Service Worker

The Dietary Aide/Cook is responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of food to patients and staff in a service excellence driven hospital. Hours are based on departmental, and facility needs and may include day, evening, and weekend hours, as directed by the Dietary Director or CEO/Managing Director.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Open kitchen and preheat kitchen equipment.
• Perform food, salad bar and dessert preparation for meals/special functions.
• Prepare trays to be delivered to patient units.
• Serve on food service line.
• Perform pre-prep as necessary.
• Must be available to work weekends.

Qualifications:

• Dietary Aide Requirements: High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum one (1) year institutional or related cooking experience.
• Ability to work weekends required.
