Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | No Call

Key Responsibilities

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals or radiation intravenously to detect or treat diseases using radioisotope equipment
• Administer medical substances for imaging and other diagnostic or therapeutic procedures
• Perform screening procedures for diagnostic interpretation
• Coordinate patient flow and manage throughput for both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Maintain procedure quality control standards
• Operate GE Infinia Hawkeye Nuclear Medicine Camera

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or certificate from an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine
• Minimum of 5 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience
• Active California State Nuclear Medicine License
• Current registration with ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or certification through NMTCB
• Venipuncture (IV) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage patient throughput in a high-volume setting
