Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast and no current placement allowed at Program: Simplifi Program - Advocate Health Southeast.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: - Experience with adult inpatient, emergency department, and outpatient populations, adult transthoracic echocardiography, contrast studies, Doppler, and color flow imaging.

Preferred Skills/Experience: - Phillips EPIQ ultrasound experience preferred.

Preferred Credentials: - Graduate of an accredited cardiac ultrasound program preferred.

Special Requests: - Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved.

Unit Details: - No TEEs or stress echoes. - May help precept other echo techs, but it is not a firm requirement. - Uses ISCV by Phillips PACS. - Limited transporter availability.

Shift & Scheduling: - Mon-Fri. - No weekend rotation. - No call. - Holidays as needed based on department needs.

Floating Requirements: - Could float to nearby Advocate Health facilities based on department needs.

7 days maximum time off

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (ARDMS)) or the alternative certification RCS
