Directs the Network Operations Center, Telecom / Circuits, and Unified Network functions and is accountable for service reliability, architecture, modernization, resources, vendors, staff, and stakeholder communication.Working for the State of Wyoming offers more than a paycheck. Preference may be given to those who demonstrate experience managing network operations, including routing, switching, wireless, firewalls, segmentation, WAN connectivity, and service reliability. Preference may be given to those who demonstrate experience managing technology budgets, contracts, vendors, telecommunications carriers, licensing, and service-level agreements. Preference may be given to those who demonstrate experience developing operational standards, policies, procedures, network diagrams, disaster-recovery documentation, and technical staff cross-training programs.Knowledge:Expertise in enterprise networking, firewalls, telecom, monitoring, cybersecurity, ITSM, lifecycle, budgets, contracts, vendors, documentation, strategy, risk, troubleshooting, communication, coaching, performance management, and outage leadership.Minimum qualifications:Education: Bachelor's Degree (typically in Computer Technology) Experience: 4-6 years of progressive work experience (typically in Computer Technology) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Technology Management II OR Education & Experience Substitution: 6-8 years of progressive work experience typically in Computer Technology) with acquired knowledge at the level of a Technology Management II Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: NonePhysical working conditions:Typical Office SettingNotes:FLSA: ExemptThis is an At-Will positionResume and Cover Letter required
