Trade Compliance Analyst

Customs AnalystFossil Group is seeking a motivated Customs Analyst to join our Logistics & Trade Compliance team. In this role, you will ensure that products shipped and received by our distribution centers comply with U.S. and international trade regulations through classifications, Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) shipment admissions, inventory reconciliation, and customs entry supervision. An ideal candidate will possess a strong drive to grow and develop in the Customs Compliance field, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle time-sensitive documentation.What you will do in this role:Determine and assign accurate HTSUS classifications for imported products to ensure compliance with customs regulations and duty requirements.Support daily transactional activities, including customs entry filings (e.g., CBP Forms 3461 and 7501), generating ad-hoc reports, and keeping internal databases up to date.Assist the Trade Compliance Department with critical activities, including Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) shipment admissions and inventory level checks.Review, audit, and approve Customs Admissions (e.g., CBP Forms 214 and 7501), and perform post-entry audits to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.Maintain accurate trade compliance records and internal databases in accordance with 19 CFR regulations.Act as a key contact for customs brokers, internal teams, and external partners while coordinating with government agencies (such as U.S. Fish & Wildlife Services) as required.Required Qualifications1–3 years of Trade Compliance experience, including customs entry filings, HTSUS classification, and internal auditing.Working knowledge of FTZ, C-TPAT, and 19 CFR regulations.Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.Preferred QualificationsLicensed Customs Broker (LCB) or successful completion of the Customs Broker License Examination (CBLE) with licensure pending.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Microsoft Access and SAP is a plus.What We OfferComprehensive Benefits: Includes health and well-being services.Retirement Planning: 401(k) match and educational resources.Paid Parental Leave & Return to Work Program: Support for new parents and caregivers with paid leave and a flexible phase-back schedule.Generous Paid Time Off: Includes Floating Holidays, Sick Time, Personal Days, and Summer Flex Fridays.Hybrid Work: Enjoy 1 regular remote day per week, plus extra flexibility with our Work-From-Anywhere Program.Tuition Reimbursement: For approved programs to support your professional growth.Employee Discounts: Save on Fossil merchandise.At Fossil Group, we embrace purpose and take every opportunity to work together to make the world a little better.
