Overview
CT Technologist (Radiology) – Travel assignment in Los Angeles, CA. Start date: 09/21/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,869–$2,920 per week. Shift: Varied Shift 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week with a 5x8 rotating pattern. Setting: hospital environment. This is a travel, temporary assignment through Healthforce Healthcare LLC.

Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT scans on CT scanners (including GE Lightspeed and Canon SP Prime) with proper patient positioning, protocol selection, and dose optimization to ensure high-quality images.
- Administer or assist with contrast media per protocol, monitor patients for adverse reactions, and document responses and outcomes.
- Operate CT imaging equipment, perform quality checks, and ensure radiation safety practices are followed for patient and staff protection.
- Document and communicate findings using the Cerner EMR system; coordinate results with radiologists and referring physicians as needed.
- Support CT-guided procedures for the Interventional Radiology team during daytime shifts; assist with planning and procedure setup as required.
- Maintain professional standards, including infection control, equipment safety, and accurate patient identification and transfer procedures.

Requirements
- Active California license to practice radiologic technology or eligibility
- ARRT certification in Radiography; CT certification preferred or eligible
- CT imaging experience in a hospital setting
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR or similar electronic medical record system
- Ability to work a 40-hour week with varied shifts; weekend coverage required
- Strong communication and teamwork, with the ability to collaborate across modality teams
