Salesforce Net Zero Functional Consultant

The Salesforce Net Zero Functional Consultant (US-based) will act as the primary on-the-ground liaison with US business and sustainability stakeholders, gathering requirements and configuring Salesforce Net Zero Cloud to support the organization's emissions-tracking and reporting goals, while coordinating closely with the India-based functional team for global consistency. Key Responsibilities Lead in-person and virtual requirement-gathering sessions with US-based sustainability, finance, and operations stakeholders. Configure and maintain Salesforce Net Zero Cloud objects, emissions calculations, and forecasting models. Serve as the primary point of contact for US business stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle. Collaborate with the India-based Functional Consultant to ensure global design consistency and knowledge transfer. Define functional specifications, process flows, and acceptance criteria for US-specific requirements. Support UAT planning and execution with US business users; coordinate defect triage with QA. Develop end-user training content and lead training sessions for US stakeholders. Track evolving US/North American ESG disclosure regulations and translate impacts into system requirements. Required Qualifications 6+ years of Salesforce functional consulting experience, including hands-on configuration (declarative tools). Hands-on experience with Salesforce Net Zero Cloud (or strong working knowledge of sustainability/ESG data concepts). Strong business analysis and stakeholder-facilitation skills, with experience presenting to senior business leaders. Familiarity with GHG Protocol, carbon accounting, or environmental reporting frameworks. Ability to work core US business hours and coordinate effectively with an offshore delivery team. Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in sustainability, energy, or ESG consulting within a US regulatory context. Experience with Flow Builder, Validation Rules, and Salesforce reporting/dashboards. Familiarity with SEC climate disclosure rules or similar US ESG reporting requirements.
