We are seeking an experienced Radar Signal Processing Engineer with data fusion and target tracking expertise in the Radar and Signal Systems Department for the Sensing and Processing Subdivision within MPD.What You'll Be DoingProviding expertise in the areas of radar moving target indication, system modeling and MTI/SIGINT/EO target tracking.Moving target indication target tracking experience with an emphasis on air moving targets.Developing unique solutions and efficient implementations of signal processing algorithms and data fusion (MTI/SIGINT/EO) for challenging mission applications.Evaluate maritime surveillance, and electronic warfare applications.Model and evaluate the performance of radar imaging, detection and data fusion tracking applications for ground and space-based radar to support program planning, acquisition, and operations.Integrate large, multi-phase, multi-disciplinary projects.What You Need to be Successful - Engineering Specialist Minimum Requirements:Eight or more years related experience, including relevant post graduate studiesMaster's or Ph.D. degree from an accredited college/university program in mathematics, physics or electrical engineeringFamiliarity with two or more of the following problems in languages IDL, C/C++, and PythonAbility to travel domestically occasionallyExperience with radar detection data fusion, and live emitters and covariance analysisFamiliarity with various tracking algorithms including radar-based tracking with an emphasis on AMTIDemonstrate flexibility and ability to adapt to changing organizational needInterpersonal skills to coordinate efforts and work with other internal and external organizationsCurrent Top-Secret clearance with SCI accessHow You Can Stand Out It would be impressive if you have one or more of these:Ph.D. degree in mathematics, physics or electrical engineeringExposure to software development including with parallel programming (e.g. Spark, CUDA, MPI)Work in or exposure to radar performance modeling and analysis of radar signals processing, encompassing use cases in SAR imaging, MTI and techniques in addition to data fusion using SAR and other data sourcesWays We Reward Our Employees During your interview process, our team will provide details of our industry-leading benefits.
