Department: 34536 Carolinas Medical Center - Nursing: Surgical Trauma ICU 11L Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 36 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Three 12 hour shifts per week, including two Fridays, two Saturdays, and two Sundays per six-week scheduling period. Pay Range $38.20 - $57.30 Where You Will Work: The Surgical Trauma Intensive Care Unit is a 29 - bed specialized unit for patients recovering from complex surgeries and life - threatening injuries. Its primary focus is acute/emergent general surgery, surgical oncology, postpartum hemorrhage, liver transplant, and designated ICU for the regions only Level - 1 Trauma Center. We’re Looking For: Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new grads Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association What You’ll Do: As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
