Senior QA Automation TesterGenesis10 is currently seeking a Senior QA Automation Tester for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Jersey City, NJ or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.This role focuses on developing detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional requirements within an Agile team. The ideal candidate will automate UI and database test cases using tools like Selenium and Tosca, working collaboratively with the development team in the banking domain.Responsibilities:Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on functional requirementsContribute to test planning and build test cases for stories in a given sprint as per story acceptance criteriaAutomate test cases for the User-Interface (UI) and database using tools like Selenium/ToscaBuild and use test data required to accomplish execution of test casesExecute test cases, including manual and automated tests, and record test resultsTest new and existing features, debug code (units and integration), and report errors and failuresWork collaboratively with the development team for defect triagingExecute all levels of testing (Functional, Integration, and Regression)Design, develop, and execute automation scriptsTake ownership in end-to-end testingDetect and track software defects and inconsistencies; provide timely solutionsApply quality principles throughout the Agile product lifecycle with the appropriate support and documentationEnsure that all standards and processes are being implemented within projectsRequirements:Technical BA/BS (Engineering, Computer Science, Math) and a minimum of 6 years of experience5+ years of experience in Software TestingExperience in Automation testing using tools like Selenium/TOSCA for UI and databaseExpertise in testing User-Interface (UI) and Database changesExperience with Autosys scheduling of jobsAble to write and execute Unix commandsProven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester using SQL, Database, and ETL technologiesStrong experience in writing complex SQL queries using JoinsWorking knowledge of test management software (e.g., qTest, Octane)Familiar with the life cycle of projects (SIT, UAT)Hands-on Agile experienceExcellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsExperience in the Banking domainExperience with Jira, Oracle, and TeradataPay range: $50.42 - $58.42 per hourOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.If you have the described qualifications and are interested in this exciting opportunity, please apply!
