Situated in the fast-growing Peoria community, the hospital offers a supportive environment.Join Our TeamIf you are a strategic HR leader who thrives in a healthcare environment and is passionate about developing people, driving engagement, and supporting exceptional patient care, we encourage you to apply.HR Director Responsibilities:Manage full-cycle payroll, leave administration and employee safety processesCoordinate new hire onboarding process.Facilitate employee communications for monthly new hire orientation including coordinating and scheduling with employees and presenters. Conduct presentations on HR policies and procedures, wellness, and benefit plans.Collaborate with recruiting team to ensure timely hires and onboarding.Plan and lead employee engagement, recognition, retention and wellness initiatives.Provide guidance regarding employee performance, coaching, corrective action, investigations, and conflict resolution.Maintain accurate employee records and documentationProcess new hires and status changes timelyEnsure accuracy of employee data WorkdayEnsure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Required Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and healthcare regulatory requirements.Exceptional leadership, collaborator, communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.Minimum of three (3) years' experience in HR Management role required.Workday experience is strongly preferred.HR Certification preferred. Bachelor's degree in related discipline preferred. Uses his or her expertise and training in Human Resources functions to put in place and manage the implementation of all necessary Human Resources policies and protocols necessary for successful operation of the hospital. Integrates the hospital's mission and "Guiding Principles" into daily practice.
