Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – In-Home Caregiver

Cambridge, MD | Immediate Day Shifts Available | $17.50/Hour

Comfort Keepers of Mid-Shore Maryland is actively hiring compassionate, dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to provide one-on-one, in-home care for our Maryland State clients in Cambridge, East New Market, Hurlock, Trappe, and the surrounding Dorchester County communities.

Current Openings:

We currently have multiple daytime State Client assignments available in the Cambridge area, including:

• Morning shifts.
• Mid-day shifts.
• Afternoon shifts.

Qualified CNAs can start immediately.

Responsibilities:

As a Comfort Keepers CNA, you will help seniors remain safe and independent in the comfort of their own homes by:

• Assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Helping with transfers, ambulation, and mobility assistance.
• Preparing meals and assisting with feeding when needed.
• Providing medication reminders.
• Performing light housekeeping and laundry.
• Providing companionship and meaningful conversation.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in the client's condition.
• Completing accurate documentation after each shift.
• Following each client's individualized Plan of Care.

Qualifications:

Applicants must have:

• Active Maryland CNA Certification (Required).
• Previous caregiving or healthcare experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Reliable transportation.
• Current automobile insurance.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude.
• Ability to safely assist clients with mobility and transfers.
