The Maintenance Mechanic must identify, troubleshoot and repair problems that occur in production equipment and processes.Responsibilities:Troubleshoot equipment problems and perform immediate repairs on production equipment in between shifts and line changes so that variations in product quality don't occur.Schedule and conduct preventive maintenance to prolong the useful life of equipment. This is done regularly as assigned by the business.Prior to production changes this employee performs equipment change-overs and production line set-ups to prepare for production.Overhaul and install new equipment onto machines as directed by the business.Rebuild, fabricate and manage parts inventory to ensure an adequate inventoryAttend meetings as assigned and assist with special projects and eventsPerforms other duties as assigned.Requirements:High School Diploma (or GED) required orequivalent degree/certificate requiredMust be able to learn and fully operate assigned production equipmentMust be at least 18 years of ageMust become forklift certified within 1 month of hireAbility to perform essential functions with little or no supervisionAbility to work weekends and holidays as directed by the businessAbility to lift 50 poundsApply Now and Share a Coke with Swire!Due to the nature of our work and to help maintain a safe workplace for our employees and customers, after a candidate receives a conditional offer of employment, they will be required to complete pre-employment screening.
