Registered Nurse Infant Special Care Unit
Hourly Pay Range: $36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Sign On Bonus: $25,000
A minimum of 18 months of NICU/ISCU experience required to be eligible for the sign-on bonus.
Location: Evanston, IL
Full Time/Part Time: Full time, 36 hours per week
Hours: 1900-0730, with weekend rotation
Float: when needed
What You Will Do:
- Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the ISCU
- Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
- Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
- Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
- Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience
What You Will Need:
- Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
- Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required (from AHA)
- License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
- Experience: 1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year ISCU experience preferred
- Unique or Preferred Skills: NICU/ISCU experience
