Showroom ManagerThe Lede Company is looking for a Showroom Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our showroom, with ownership across inventory management, sample intake and tracking, storage and organization, inbound and outbound shipping, and press day logistics. This is a hands-on, high-volume role for someone who thrives on creating structure and keeping a fast-moving showroom running seamlessly, balancing meticulous organization and inventory control with white-glove service for clients, press, and internal teams. The ideal candidate has experience managing operations within a PR agency, fashion or lifestyle brand, showroom, or similar fast-paced environment, is fluent in sample-trafficking systems such as Fashion GPS/Launchmetrics, and is equally comfortable overseeing the big picture and working hands-on alongside a lean team.Role & Responsibilities:Showroom & Sample OperationsOwn the end-to-end sample lifecycle — intake, check-in, cataloging, and return — using Fashion GPS/Launchmetrics or an equivalent sample-trafficking systemMaintain an impeccably organized, presentation-ready showroom (racks, shelves, archives, displays) that's always ready for client meetings, press appointments, and eventsCoordinate sample pulls and trafficking across multiple client accounts at once, keeping accuracy and accountability at every handoffLead logistics for press days, showroom installations, and seasonal market appointments, partnering closely with the PR/Brand teamsFulfillment & LogisticsOversee all inbound and outbound shipments, both domestic and international, including related customs documentationWork effectively with all major shipping, logistics, and package delivery companies, as well as local and regional courier and messenger companiesDevelop and implement scalable inventory management systems and standard operating procedures as the showroom growsMonitor stock accuracy, resolve discrepancies quickly, and uphold safe, compliant picking and packing practices (OSHA)Identify bottlenecks in fulfillment workflows and partner cross-functionally to streamline themMust be able to stand and walk throughout the day; climb, stoop, kneel, reach, and carry packages/merchandise up to 25–30 lbsTeam LeadershipTrain and manage showroom assistants, interns, and support staffSet and monitor operational goals and KPIs (delivery speed, accuracy, turnaround) and report on performanceBuild a showroom culture that is equal parts employee-centric and client-centricOther duties as assignedQualifications:5–7+ years in showroom, fulfillment, or supply chain management, ideally within a fashion PR agency, showroom, or luxury retail environmentDirect experience with Fashion GPS/Launchmetrics or a comparable sample-management platform strongly preferredProven track record scaling operations and building repeatable systems from the ground upExperience managing high-volume inbound/outbound shipping and multi-client sample traffickingPrior people-management experience, including training and supervising interns/assistantsSharp eye for visual presentation and showroom aestheticsExceptional organization and meticulous attention to detailClear, confident communicator comfortable liaising with clients, media, and cross-functional internal teamsCalm under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven agency environmentFamiliarity with OSHA safety compliance standards a plusNice To Have:Bachelor's degree in business, fashion merchandising, or a related fieldExperience supporting multiple client brands concurrently, agency-sideWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office/Google Workspace and basic inventory or ERP toolsIn-office expectation: 5 days a weekThe Lede Company is an equal opportunity employer.
