Step into a rewarding contract position supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist within an elementary school setting. This is a full-time maternity leave coverage opportunity, ideal for professionals passionate about making a difference in the lives of students ages 5-11.

The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through early October 2026. You’ll work with a diverse elementary caseload, collaborating with educators and families to support children’s communication goals and overall development.

Key Qualifications:

• Hold an active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
• Possess GaPSC SLP Educator Certification
• Earned ASHA CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
• Prior experience providing SLP services within a school environment preferred
• Exceptional communication, organization, and documentation skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for students
• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs)
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy services, adjusting interventions as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families for comprehensive student support
• Maintain comprehensive records in compliance with district and legal requirements
