Certified Respiratory Therapist - Pediatrics/NICU

Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule 3x12 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with holiday rotation and every other weekend required.

Job Description We are seeking a skilled Certified Respiratory Therapist with experience in Pediatrics and a focus on NICU Level 4 and Pediatric Cardiac care. This role requires providing high-quality respiratory care to neonates and infants in a fast-paced, teaching hospital environment.

Responsibilities Administer respiratory therapy to pediatric patients, including neonates and infants. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Monitor and assess patients' respiratory status and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding respiratory health. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care in the electronic health record (Epic).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2 years of pediatric, neonate, and infant respiratory therapy experience. Current CRT certification, BLS, PALS, and NRP required. Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (RCP) license required at time of start. Epic charting experience preferred.
