This position is responsible for maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring premises, and responding to safety or security incidents in accordance with company policies and client requirements. Daily tasks include conducting patrols, controlling access points, verifying identification, and observing for suspicious activity or safety hazards. The Armed Security Guard will document incidents and activities in reports, communicate clearly with supervisors, clients, and emergency responders, and follow established procedures for conflict de-escalation and incident response. The role requires strict adherence to legal, ethical, and regulatory standards related to firearms, use of force, and confidentiality.\nQualifications\n\n\n Ability to maintain situational awareness, assess risk, and respond calmly and effectively to security incidents.\n Demonstrated skills in communication, including clear verbal reporting, writing incident reports, and interacting respectfully with clients, visitors, and team members.\n Capability to follow detailed procedures, adhere to post orders, and work within established security protocols and chain of command.\n Capacity to perform physical security duties, such as standing or patrolling for extended periods, and responding quickly to alarms or emergencies.\n Valid state-required armed security license or ability to obtain one, including successful completion of background checks and any mandated training.\n Proficiency and legal eligibility to carry and operate a firearm safely, with formal weapons training and a strong understanding of use-of-force guidelines.\n Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military, or related fields is preferred but not required.\n High school diploma or equivalent; additional security or safety certifications are beneficial.\n Ability to work assigned shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.\n Commitment to ethical conduct, confidentiality, and consistent professional behavior in all interactions.\n
