Houston, Texas, United States Weekly: 4-19 hours Interview Plan Sales Ambassadors at Lush are experts in product and brand knowledge, and provide exceptional customer consultations and product demonstrations. They cultivate strong team relationships, contribute to overall shop excellence, and consistently surpass daily sales goals while creating a fun and inclusive team environment. They use personalized product recommendations and share knowledge to create a unique and memorable experience for every shopper. The role is about making a positive impact on the world, one bar at a time. Responsibilities Sales and Customer Experience: Driving Sales: Utilize StoreForce dashboard results and seek feedback to exceed sales goals, taking ownership of results and actively growing contribution to store sales. Customer Experience: Consistently deliver a world‑class customer experience, identify needs through listening and open‑ended questions, demonstrate product benefits, and make customers’ day. Building the Brand: Educate customers on brand values (anti‑animal testing, freshness, ethical buying, vegetarian, handmade, naked packaging) and engage through store parties and community initiatives. Product Passion: Continuously expand product knowledge, stay up‑to‑date on ingredients and benefits, and confidently recommend products. Team Involvement: Development: Use Lush resources to improve sales techniques and product knowledge, support team growth, and enhance performance. DEIB: Encourage open communication, listen to team perspectives, promote teamwork, and recognize unique contributions. Operational Excellence: Time and Attendance: Be punctual, reliable, and present; prioritize wellbeing and stay informed on company updates. Visuals and Merchandising: Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store to enhance the customer experience and drive sales. Stock and Inventory: Adjust product displays using merchandising guidelines based on sales. Policies and Procedures: Follow company standards for opening/closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health/safety. Qualifications Required: Excellent customer service skills. Adaptability to changing situations and priorities. Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business. Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. NOTE: Candidates under the age of 18 will be employed on a contract basis through the Lush Youth Employment Program in accordance with local regulations. Preferred: Experience with consultation‑based customer service models. Strong problem‑solving skills. Team‑working experience. Experience in skincare or cosmetics. Cross‑cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training. Fluency in Spanish, French, or other languages.
