Houston Jewelry Sales & Business Development Associate

Milliard Diamond Concierge is seeking a full-time Sales + Business Development Associate to join our Houston showroom. This is an excellent opportunity for a self‑motivated individual to play a meaningful role in growing our Houston operation. The Sales + Business Development Associate will be the primary full‑time onsite presence in Houston, working in coordination with our part‑time Houston jewelry designer and supported by our Dallas headquarters. New hires will receive onboarding and training in Dallas covering the Milliard design process as well as our point‑of‑sale and production management systems. Responsibilities Maintain daily showroom operations, including setting jewelry displays, securing inventory, and keeping the showroom presentable Deliver an exceptional client experience during showroom appointments, and over time, identify opportunities to cultivate new client relationships in the Houston market Support trunk shows, events, and marketing initiatives in the Houston area and potentially other markets Assist with fulfillment of online orders from Houston inventory in coordination with the inventory manager Communicate proactively with the Dallas team to ensure the showroom is properly stocked with inventory and supplies Network with key individuals and communities in the Houston area to support business development Identify and surface opportunities for sales team growth, including recommending strong candidates for future Houston roles Qualifications Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be comfortable gathering information, implementing direction from a remote leadership team, and reporting back clearly on results and issues Ability to work independently and manage priorities Highly organized with excellent attention to detail A strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with a genuine interest in contributing to business growth Willingness to take on a wide range of tasks in a growing satellite operation Prior experience in fine jewelry, luxury retail, or a client‑facing sales role preferred Prior experience with point‑of‑sale systems and/or Piro ERP system preferred but not required Specifications Full‑time role Monday‑Friday 9am‑5pm in‑person with 30‑minute lunch.
