Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - MedSurg to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
• Manage nurse-patient ratios efficiently, aiming for patient safety and quality care.
• Titrate drips such as heparin and bumex per protocol while adhering to safety guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient support.
• Prepare and maintain accurate patient documentation using the EPIC charting system.
• Adapt to rotating shifts and weekend or holiday schedules as necessary.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of West Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a MedSurg setting.
• Able to work efficiently in a rotating shift environment, including nights and weekends.
• Must be flexible with floating to other medical-surgical or intermediate care units.
• Capability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary environment and manage patient loads effectively.
