Senior Property Accountant

Our client is a real estate firm. They seek a Senior Property Accountant to join their Ridgewood, NJ office. Responsibilities Coordinate the monthly close process across a multi-property portfolio by preparing reconciliations, posting journal entries, and compiling financial statements Oversee rent and CAM billing cycles, including statement preparation, reconciliation, and distribution Track accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances. Administer lease activity within Yardi Maintain tenant records and ensure lease compliance, including rent escalations and utility/tenant bill-backs Manage tenant move-ins and move-outs in Yardi, including final reconciliations and security deposit processing Assist with treasury-related functions Support onboarding of new properties, including Yardi setup and tenant communications Requirements 3+ years of property accounting experience Real estate industry required Familiarity with lease administration and real estate accounting principles Strong understanding of accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries Entrepreneurial mindset and highly analytical Yardi experience is required #J-18808-Ljbffr
