Production Lead

Rudolph Foods is seeking a hands-on Production Lead to support daily manufacturing operations in a fast-paced food production environment. This role is responsible for leading production employees, ensuring safety and quality standards, supporting packaging operations, and driving continuous improvement across the floor. The Production Lead will work closely with the Production Supervisor to maintain efficiency, compliance, and team performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily packaging operations to ensure smooth production flow
• Lead and support a team of 3040 production employees
• Train, coach, and develop new and existing team members
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, SQF, and all food safety standards
• Monitor production output, quality, and efficiency goals
• Identify and report production or equipment issues promptly
• Partner with maintenance to support equipment performance
• Ensure proper sanitation and safety procedures are followed
• Support inventory counts (daily/weekly/monthly/yearly)
• Use E21 system and RF scan guns for tracking and inventory functions
• Relieve packers during breaks as needed
• Maintain a visible presence on the production floor and lead by example
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational changes

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Experience in food manufacturing or production environment preferred
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, sanitation, and safety programs
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (Spanish bilingual preferred)
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on production environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Ability to lift, reach, and assist in production-related tasks as needed
• Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching required
