Engineering Technician

Location: Foster City, CA
Pay: $40/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site
Type: Contract

The Job

We are hiring an Engineering Technician to build, assemble, test, and inspect electronic hardware used in automotive technology.

What You’ll Do

Assemble electronic and electro-mechanical hardware
Solder, crimp, and connect wiring/components
Build and test prototypes
Read technical drawings and instructions
Inspect completed work for quality
Use tools such as soldering irons, torque tools, and multimeters
Assist engineers with prototype builds and troubleshooting
Document test and build results

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
3–5 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience
Experience with soldering and electronic assembly
Able to read technical drawings
Comfortable using hand tools and electronic test equipment
Basic computer skills
Strong attention to detail

Preferred: IPC-610, IPC-620, or similar certification.
