Description
Repairs and maintains diesel and gasoline industrial and submersible pumps. Positively represents the Company and maintains good relations with customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate correct assembly, positioning and operation of filtration components: filter box, sand media, bag, cartridge, pumps, pipe and hose
- Demonstrates ability to install various media and is aware of disposal procedure
- Knowledge of correct assembly, positioning and operation of water quality monitoring systems and disposal procedure
- Demonstrates the ability to troubleshoot and repair all types of filtration systems
- Understand the operation and programming of alarm agents, AnDRU box and Radar gauges
- Advanced mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools
- Able to demonstrates knowledge of up to five skills required for branch specific work
- Assist in the training of Mechanics C, B, and A as needed
- Participate in the on-call rotation as needed
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Other Competencies:
- Able to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
- Able to use a calculator, cellular telephone, and tape measure/ruler.
- Able to read a map, plan routes, and calculate distances.
- Must be Motivated, Team player, Safety-Oriented, and have a Customer Service orientation
