Accounts Payable Clerk (Part-Time)

Job Description The position of Accounts Payable Clerk involves responsible administrative and clerical work supporting the accounting operations of Bedrock Property Management (BPM). Duties include processing vendor invoices, verifying and reconciling accounts, preparing payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting with month and year-end closing tasks. Performing these duties requires accuracy, attention to detail, and decision-making in reference to established accounting policies and procedures. Major Duties and Responsibilities (Illustrative, not all inclusive)

1. Receive, review, and process vendor invoices for accuracy, proper coding, and appropriate approvals.
2. Enter invoices and payment information into the accounting system in a timely and accurate manner.
3. Prepare and process check runs and ACH payments.
4. Reconcile vendor statements and respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status.
5. Contact vendors to update billing and remittance information.
6. Maintain organized and accurate accounts payable files and records, both physical and electronic.
7. Assist with monthly account reconciliations and support month-end and year-end closing processes.
8. Assist with preparation of 1099 forms and other required documentation.
9. Ensure compliance with BPM's internal controls, accounting policies, and applicable regulations.
10. Communicate with property managers and other staff to resolve questions related to invoices.
11. Adhere to BPM's safety program and procedures.
12. Attend workshops, seminars, and training sessions as directed by the CFO.
13. Perform other related duties as directed by the CFO.
