Ocean Import/Export Coordinator Location: Atlanta Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite Salary - $50k to $65k depending on experience Benefits: Medical, 401k, PTO Please note: Sponsorship is not available for this role. Applicants must be a US Citizen, Green Card Holder, or hold a current/valid work visa. We are seeking Ocean Import or Export Coordinators for various clients across Los Angeles . This role is responsible for managing end-to-end international freight operations. The ideal candidate has hands-on freight forwarding experience and thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment. Key Responsibilities: Manage all stages of international import operations from booking through final delivery, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and on-time execution. Handle ocean import or export operations, including documentation preparation, coordination with overseas agents, and shipment execution. Prepare and manage rate quotes for customers and international partners for ocean freight. Coordinate and oversee consolidated cargo shipments. Communicate regularly with overseas agents, carriers, trucking companies, and vendors. Ensure compliance with customs regulations, shipping laws, and internal procedures. Proactively resolve shipment issues to minimize delays or service disruptions. Support customer relationships through clear communication, responsiveness, and issue resolution. Required Experience & Qualifications: Minimum 2 years of experience with a freight forwarding company handling ocean import or export operations from start to finish (required).
