Associate Director, Patient Support Services Operations

Cytokinetics seeks an Associate Director to lead patient support services operations, overseeing access programs, reimbursement support, and specialty pharmacy coordination. The role focuses on optimizing patient experience, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance while supporting cardiac muscle dysfunction therapies.
Responsibilities
- Lead operational execution of patient support services across access, affordability, and adherence programs
- Oversee vendor relationships and performance management, ensuring compliance with KPIs and SLAs
- Design and improve end-to-end patient journey from prescription through ongoing therapy
- Monitor key experience metrics and escalations; ensure REMS coordination and compliance
- Partner cross-functionally to align patient support strategy with business objectives and brand goals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA, MPH, or equivalent preferred
- 7+ years biopharma experience with significant patient support services or market access focus
- Expertise in access, reimbursement processes, specialty pharmacy, and affordability programs
- Demonstrated experience managing third-party vendors or hub service providers
- Product launch and patient support program scaling experience
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements; REMS experience preferred
- Strong written and oral communication skills for complex stakeholder engagement
Compensation: $192,600–$224,700 base
