Associate Director, Patient Affordability Solutions, Patient Access

Associate Director role supporting the design and management of patient affordability programs, including copay cards, savings offerings, and free-drug initiatives. Oversees vendor relationships, performance metrics, and program optimization while collaborating across brand, operations, compliance, and patient support functions.

Responsibilities

• Assess, select, and manage affordability vendors through evaluation, contracting, and performance oversight
• Design affordability programs with eligibility criteria, business rules, and patient support requirements
• Define operational readiness workflows, SOPs, vendor testing, and launch preparation
• Establish and monitor KPIs, dashboards, and patient outcome metrics for program performance
• Identify affordability-related gaps and optimize programs to improve patient access and persistence

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• 5+ years in biopharma patient services, hub operations, or specialty pharmacy
• Experience designing and operationalizing affordability programs with vendor management
• Cross-functional collaboration with brand, legal, compliance, finance, and vendors
• Understanding of affordability barriers and program models (copay, bridge, free-drug, voucher)
• Team leadership experience including hiring and performance management

Compensation: $142,400 - $224,100 base
