Associate Director, Patient Navigator Strategy, US Oncology, Marketing

Associate Director role designing and implementing patient navigator strategy for an mRNA-based individualized neoantigen therapy in early-stage melanoma. Responsible for building the patient support operating model, engagement frameworks, and governance structures to support seamless therapy delivery across a complex oncology treatment ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Define patient navigator strategy, operating model, service offerings, and engagement framework for individualized therapy
• Establish patient education strategy and resources covering disease education, treatment journey, manufacturing, and timelines
• Define consent requirements, approved messaging, support boundaries, and escalation pathways for navigator interactions
• Partner with Data and Technology teams to establish CRM capabilities, workflow tools, and reporting solutions
• Establish navigator performance measures, quality standards, and metrics; identify trends and improvement opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; MBA or equivalent preferred
• Minimum 5 years in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare with patient services or navigation experience
• Demonstrated experience designing and implementing patient support programs and engagement models
• Knowledge of patient privacy, informed consent, compliance, and patient-facing communications
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and ability to navigate ambiguity and operational complexity
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills across matrix organizations
• Experience establishing patient support guardrails, engagement standards, and compliant processes
