U.S. Turbine & Accessory, LLC (USTA) is seeking a motivated and results-driven Parts & Engine Sales Representative to join our team.

This position is responsible for generating sales of aircraft engine parts, accessories, and engines while developing strong relationships with customers, vendors, and industry partners. The Parts & Engine Sales Representative will manage opportunities from the initial RFQ through negotiation, order placement, and delivery while working to achieve established revenue and margin goals.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, commercially minded, responsive, and capable of using aviation industry knowledge to identify opportunities, solve customer requirements, and successfully close transactions.

What You'll Do

• Generate, respond to, and complete sales of aircraft engine parts, accessories, and engines.
• Generate sales revenue and gross margin to meet established annual business plans and individual sales targets.
• Actively prospect for new customers and develop opportunities with airlines, MRO facilities, repair stations, brokers, leasing companies, and other aviation organizations.
• Respond to customer RFQs and provide accurate and competitive pricing, availability, condition, certification, and lead-time information.
• Manage customer communications through phone, email, aviation marketplaces, and other sales channels, including ILS and PartsBase.
• Consistently follow up on open quotations and customer requirements to improve quote-to-order conversion.
• Develop and execute strategies to address gaps between current sales performance and established revenue and margin targets.
• Manage sales opportunities from initial inquiry through negotiation, purchase order, fulfillment, and delivery.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, co-workers, and other industry partners to generate sales and identify opportunities to acquire engines and inventory.
• Utilize aviation industry and market knowledge to identify, evaluate, value, purchase, price, and sell aircraft engine parts, accessories, and engines.
• Evaluate and negotiate complex transactions while maintaining company pricing, margin, and approval requirements.
• Structure and negotiate outright, exchange, repair, overhaul, and other aviation aftermarket transactions.
• Research market pricing, historical sales information, industry demand, and available inventory to support purchasing and sales decisions.
• Identify opportunities to purchase aircraft engines, engine components, inventories, and other material that align with company sales and inventory objectives.
• Assist customers with technical documentation requests, alternate part numbers, traceability questions, certification requirements, warranty questions, supplier information, and other sales-related needs.
• Process sales orders and ensure customer requirements, pricing, terms, documentation, and delivery expectations are accurately communicated internally.
• Assist with establishing new customer accounts and work with accounting to review existing customer account and credit status when necessary.
• Work closely with purchasing, accounting, logistics, stockroom, and management to ensure customer and order requirements are successfully completed.
• Maintain accurate customer, quote, order, and follow-up information within the company's ERP and sales systems.
• Support the sale and acquisition of commercial aircraft engines and major engine components.
• Participate in customer meetings, industry conferences, and aviation trade shows as required.
• Manage additional strategic sales initiatives, complex transactions, inventory projects, and other assignments as needed.

 

Position Requirements

• 2–3 years of aviation sales, technical, program management, or related industry experience preferred.
• Previous experience in aircraft parts, engine, component, or aviation aftermarket sales strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of aircraft engines and engine material is preferred, particularly experience with GE engine platform.
• Experience evaluating, purchasing, pricing, exchanging, or selling aircraft parts and/or engines is preferred.
• Understanding of aviation material conditions, including New, New Surplus, Overhauled, Serviceable, Repaired, and As-Removed material.
• Knowledge of aviation documentation and traceability requirements, including FAA 8130-3 documentation and certificates of conformance, is preferred.
• Familiarity with FAA regulations applicable to aviation parts and aftermarket transactions is preferred.
• Experience with ERP, inventory management, quoting, and sales systems.
• Strong sales, negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate pricing, market demand, inventory, and transaction profitability.
• Ability to manage multiple RFQs, quotations, orders, negotiations, and follow-ups simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, management, and internal departments.
• Ability to travel for customer visits, industry events, and trade shows as required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• Previous experience evaluating, purchasing, leasing, exchanging, or selling aircraft parts and engines.
• Established relationships within the commercial aviation aftermarket are a plus.
• Strong understanding of aviation aftermarket pricing and supply-and-demand dynamics.
• Experience negotiating high-value or complex aviation transactions.
