Job Description Job Description Direct Counsel is representing a reputable law firm seeking a Senior Construction Associate to join its National Construction Practice in Miami. About the Role This is an excellent opportunity for a senior-level associate with substantial experience in real estate development and construction-related transactions. The role offers direct client contact and the opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-value development projects for clients across a wide range of industries. Responsibilities Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts related to real estate development Advise clients on construction, design, and development agreements Support large-scale real estate and construction projects from inception through completion Work directly with clients and manage ongoing transactional needs Collaborate with internal teams on complex development matters Provide high-quality legal analysis, drafting, and negotiation support Qualifications Minimum 7 years of experience in real estate development transactions Experience with construction, design, or development contracts preferred (not required) Strong drafting, negotiation, research, and communication skills Excellent academic credentials required Comfortable working directly with clients and in team-based environments Must be admitted to the Florida Bar or eligible for admission Spanish fluency is a plus , but not required Application Materials Please submit: Resume Official law school transcript(s) One or two writing samples (PDF format preferred) Compensation & Benefits The firm offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including bonus eligibility, healthcare coverage, 401(k), paid time off, and additional wellness benefits.
