Veterinary Assistant

Job Overview Beechmont Pet Hospital is currently seeking an enthusiastic, outgoing individual to join our growing staff as a full‑time veterinary assistant! Part‑time availability may also be considered for the right candidate. Potential applicants should have a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to multi‑task. A customer service background and/or veterinary hospital experience is preferred, but we are also willing to provide on‑the‑job training as well. Responsibilities Assist with patient care and treatment Monitor hospitalized pets Maintain inventory and stocking Restrain animals during blood draws and nail trims Aid with routine diagnostic tests Maintain and sterilize surgical instruments Clean and disinfect the hospital Administer medication under supervision Feed and bathe animals Answer phones and perform general customer service duties Qualifications Positive attitude Strong communication skills Ability to multi‑task Customer service background preferred Veterinary hospital experience preferred (training provided) Benefits Base hourly rate of $13.00 – $15.00 Health, dental, and vision benefits (full‑time) 401(k) with company match Vacation and holiday pay Generous discount on products and services sold at Beechmont Pet Hospital Location Located in Anderson Township, Beechmont Pet Hospital is a full‑service medical facility servicing Southeast Cincinnati, OH.
