Senior Manager, Industrial Hygiene

Senior Manager of Industrial Hygiene for DePuy Synthes, a Johnson & Johnson orthopaedics company. This strategic role leads industrial hygiene programs across manufacturing sites, ensuring employee health protection through hazard assessment, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead design, implementation, and continuous improvement of Industrial Hygiene programs and risk mitigation strategies
Ensure compliance with applicable IH, EHS, and occupational health regulations and internal company standards
Serve as site and regional subject matter expert, providing guidance to EHS partners and leadership teams
Lead IH risk assessments, monitoring programs, data analysis, and regulatory reporting
Coach, mentor, and develop IH and EHS team members; manage professionals and project teams as needed

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health, Environmental Health, Safety Engineering, or related discipline
8–10 years progressive experience in Industrial Hygiene or EHS within regulated manufacturing or life sciences
Demonstrated expertise in IH exposure assessment, monitoring methodologies, and control strategies
Strong knowledge of U.S. occupational health regulations (OSHA, ACGIH standards)
Proven ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders at multiple organizational levels
English proficiency required; limited domestic travel up to 10–20% may be required
