Supervisory Contract Specialist

The selectee will serve as a Supervisory Contract Specialist in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer, Procurement Division. Typical work assignments include:

Serve as the Assistant Division Chief and senior acquisition expert, providing senior-level leadership in planning, directing, and overseeing Procurement Division operations in support of mission-critical Secret Service programs.
Provide authoritative interpretations, guidance, and policy recommendations across all phases of procurement management, and conduct comprehensive assessments of division goals, organizational performance, workforce capabilities, and procurement processes.
Advise senior leadership on risks, impacts, and mitigation strategies for high-visibility or sensitive procurement matters.
Provide senior-level leadership in planning, directing, and coordinating the work of multiple functional units within the Procurement Division.
Participate in senior-level forums to brief leadership on major program changes, operational risks, and organizational initiatives.

This Supervisory Contract Specialist position starts at a salary of $126,385, GS-15 step 1, with a potential to $164,301, GS-15 step 10.
