\n Industrial Loader \n

\n Automation Personnel Services is looking for a  Skilled Loader  for a company based in\n

\n Cullman, AL. Responsible for safely operating overhead cranes, forklifts and lulls to load and unload shipments in a safe and productive manor in accordance with site’s business goals and objectives.\n

\n Pay Rate \n

\n $18.00+ based on experience\n

\n  \n

\n Schedule and Hours \n

\n Dayshift: Mon-Fri 7am-3:30pm/5:30pm \n

\n Night shift:   Sun; 11:00p-7:00a / Mon-Thur; 9:00p-7:00a\n

\n  \n

\n Loader Duties and Responsibilities \n

\n · Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks,\n

\n delivery vehicles, or containers, by hand or using trucks, overhead cranes or other equipment.\n

\n · Sort material before loading and unloading.\n

\n · Attach identifying tags to materials or mark them with identifying information.\n

\n · Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or\n

\n equipment needs.\n

\n · Stack material in pre-determined locations as directed.\n

\n · Record numbers of units handled or moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.\n

\n · Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage\n

\n to items being transported.\n

\n · Attach slings, hooks, or other devices to lift cargo and guide loads.\n

\n · Maintain equipment storage areas to ensure that inventory is protected.\n

\n · Adjust controls to guide, position, or move equipment, such as cranes, lifts and other devices.\n

\n · Guide loads being lifted to prevent swinging.\n

\n Loader Qualifications and Requirements \n

\n · Receive information or instructions for performing work assignments.\n

\n · Load materials using overhead cranes, lifts and other devices.\n

\n · Operate overhead cranes to move material, equipment, and parts.\n

\n · Review work orders or schedules to determine operations or procedures.\n

\n · Maintain material moving equipment in good working condition.\n

\n · Sort materials or objects for processing or transport.\n

\n · Mark materials for identification.\n

\n · Secure materials.\n

\n · Package materials.\n

\n · Maintain a clean work area(s).\n

\n · Use fire suppression methods in industrial emergencies.\n

\n · Requires working in varying climate changes (heat/cold).\n
