Job Title: Qlik / Visualization/ BI Developer Key Responsibilities
- QLIK Development (Core):
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced Qlik Sense and/or QlikView applications.
- Optimize data models and set analysis for performance and scalability.
- Implement complex set analysis, calculated dimensions, and extensions.
- Data Wrangling & ETL:
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from diverse sources (relational databases, flat files, APIs) into Qlik data models.
- Perform complex data cleaning, transformation, and aggregation to support reporting needs.
- Visualization & Storytelling:
- Translate complex business requirements into intuitive, interactive dashboards.
- Utilize best practices in UI/UX to ensure that data is presented in a clear, actionable manner for federal stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Work directly with federal clients to gather requirements and iterate on dashboard designs.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers on the team.
- Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics.
- Technical Skills:
- Deep Expertise in Qlik: Extensive experience with Qlik Sense/QlikView scripting, data modeling, and security rules.
- BI Tools: Proven experience with other BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) is a plus, but Qlik mastery is mandatory.
- Programming: Strong proficiency in Python or R .
- Database: Expert-level SQL skills (Joins, Subqueries, CTEs, Window Functions).
- Data Wrangling: Experience with ETL processes and handling large, unstructured datasets.
