Job Description Creates and advises on conceptual, logical, and physical modeling of the data models necessary to meet the distributed reporting needs of departmental report developers. Ensures security and metadata standards for distributed reporting are maintained and coordinated with the data warehouse team. Works with department developers, analysts and Technical System Owners to ensure applications meet performance requirements. Validates that the ETL mappings created by departmental developers contains the correct documentation, integration with enterprise data marts, and logic (including business logic for transformations). Assists in the development and implementation of a distributed data governance lifecycle, including testing and validation techniques, and data management policies and standards. Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures primarily to meet distributed reporting needs. Develops performance enhancing features as needed to ensure speedy delivery of data to report users. Qualifications Knowledge of database design principles. Knowledge of data migration tools. Strong ability to communicate in both written and oral forms. Effective at building team relationships and partnerships. Ability to collaborate with groups. Able to analyze and solve complex data design problems. Ability to manage multiple tasks/functions concurrently.
